As I make a turn, the steering wheel makes a very low sqeaking noise, it's
hardly noticable.  What could this be?  My pathfinder has about 67000 miles.

Thanks in advance,

MC

Is the noise inside or outside the vehicle?

I am pretty sure it's inside.  It's a very light squeaky noise.

Could be something as benign as vinyl from the steering wheel rubbing
on the steering column. You may have to remove the steering wheel to
look for anything further.

I have had this problem before.  When fixed under warrantee, I was told
it needed some lubrication.  Isn't that what we all need?

its been astablished already that the noise comes from his steering wheel as
verified by a mechanic
