93 nissan quest a/c

93 nissan quest 161000 miles/ ac clutch assembly start making sound
rreplaced last yr. same problem last week, but after few day any time i on
the a/c the car makes a noice and the engine stops. looks like something in
the belt or overloading the engine to stop. plse help

Sounds like it's more than the clutch... like the compressor is locking
up.

proffesor, you are right i went to check , they said compressor is locking
up,because of metal parts from old compressor, got an estimate 1500
dollar. is that any way we can fix this problem with out replaCING THE
COMPRESSOR OR LESS EXPENSILVY. PLSE GIVE ADVISE IF ANY ONE HAVE
suggeetions plse help.the caR is in good shapr except the ac propblem.

Well... $1500 sounds a liitle steep for a compressor, a flush, maybe a
dryer (if so equipped... may be plugged with metal bits), and a
recharge. I think you should get a second estimate.
