timing belt or chain?

hello, has anyone changed this in a 2000 Sentra? if so how hard and
complicated was it? if you took yours in to the dealer,how much did they
charge you?  thanks Randy

Huh?  Arent all modern vehciles chained?  My 2004 Sentra is a chain

quite a few makes use belts also

Toyota used belts up until 2000.  Right PITA.

Randy, if you have chain, they are good for the life of the engine.  If
you don't, the belt should be mentioned as a service item in the owner's
manual.
