I had two of my fuses go out on my car, so I took it to auto zone and
they said that i had a shortage in my fuse box.  My windows do NOT go
down, could it be because of that?1993 nissan altima

Sure -- it depends on what fuse blew, but that's entirely possible.

Open the fuse box.  the list of which fuse is for what is on the inside of
the cover.  The underhood boxes usually have it printed right on the top of
the box.

Ha!  That's a good one.  A "shortage" in the fuse.  Well, if 2 fuses are blown, then there would be a "shortage" in the fusebox.  Now then, what "shorted" out the fuses that were blown?  I guess they were a "big" help.  LOL

LOL

Well, that's autozone for ya..  I might trust them with putting tires on my
car, but that is about it (and I'd still check the work and the torque of
the lugs)

I take it you know where these fuses are located? Get a repair manual (like
a Haynes manual, book store, amazon or library are good sources), learn to
identify bad fuses from that manual, locate your fuses and figure out what
they are for. See if replacing them will fix your problem - it may not, as
blowing two fuses at the same time is unlikely.

It may be something obvious or, in case you are not comfortable doing
something like repair, bring it to a reputable place for repair.
