Yes, I have a 2001 GXE and I just replaced mine. It was right behind
the glove compartment. You shouldn’t have to take any screws out to
get the glove box out. I can’t remember if there were any screws
behind it but I don’t think there was. Replacing mine made my air
conditioner work much better.
