I have a 04 Nissan Frontier XE with 25,000 miles and its making all kinds of
suspension sound when I'm breaking or going over a bump. My local dealer
(Bay Area) said adjustments are not covered after 12,000 miles! They will
look at it and if its not under warranty I will be charged $115 for the
inspection. Does this sound right to you assuming its not from abuse. I was
under the impression its warranted for 35,000 miles or 3 years without the
12,000 mile restriction.

Get out your owners manual and read the warantee.

Odds are they don't cover alignment, which is normal maintenance.

But alignment problems generally don't cause noise, just weird tire wear
and maybe handling.
