RPM drop when i stop

hello im new to this...i hope you all can help me out...i have a 90
nissan stanza and i cant figue out what is wrong with it...situation
is that..when i come to a stop or even when its on park the RPM’s drop
so much it feels that the car will turn off..it hasnt turned off..but
it feels like it will...it runs fine but when it comes to a stop the
RPM’s go just about all the way to 0...what should i do?

It would help if you gave  basic history of the vbehicle, like, have you
given it a tune-up recently. Detail what you did/ Replace spark plugs?
air filter, feul filter? Etc. Change oil? What's been done to your car,
and when?

im sorry...yeah i changed out the spark plugs...the wires...the
distributor cap...and the rotor...and the air filter and its still
doing it...some people have told me that it might be the throttle
position sensor...but i havent replaced that yet

Ok, like the other poster suggested, try check the idle air cntrol
valve, and clean your throttle body. When I cleaned my TB on my 98
Maxima after 100K miles, cold starts improved dramatically and overall
low rpm drivability was much improved.

A good bet would be the idle air control valve or aux air control valve.  I
had the same issue, but in mine(2001) the parts are combined.
