It would help if you gave basic history of the vbehicle, like, have you
given it a tune-up recently. Detail what you did/ Replace spark plugs?
air filter, feul filter? Etc. Change oil? What's been done to your car,
and when?

im sorry...yeah i changed out the spark plugs...the wires...the
distributor cap...and the rotor...and the air filter and its still
doing it...some people have told me that it might be the throttle
position sensor...but i havent replaced that yet

Ok, like the other poster suggested, try check the idle air cntrol
valve, and clean your throttle body. When I cleaned my TB on my 98
Maxima after 100K miles, cold starts improved dramatically and overall
low rpm drivability was much improved.

A good bet would be the idle air control valve or aux air control valve. I
had the same issue, but in mine(2001) the parts are combined.
