1,2,3 do not work. In past hondas the ballast resistor for the fan
creates an open in the circuit
I currently have the same problem in my 02 sentra seR. Read my post a
few days ago. One answer told me yes there is a resistor block
somewhere under the dash, near the glove compartment. I still can't
find it. I think I will have to take it to the dealer for the repair.
And I'm sure it will cost me allot. I was told the part should go
around $50. Then the labor is what will cost the most. Good luck
finding yours.

I did this for my earlier honda cars and it is under the glove box and
inserted somewhat into the actual fan assembly under the glove box to
provide cooling to the resistor pack. So your description is correct. I
will look for it soon as the car belongs to a co-worker. I'll write back
when I find it.

I've had to replace the blower motor resistor a couple of times on my 91
Sentra. Its located on the blower housing under the glovebox - yours may
or may not be similar. The part was around $22.
Anyway, its an easy DIY repair. Go to the parts counter and the dealer
and they should be able to tell you where its located.

It's always mounted into the blower motor housing so it can be cooled by the
airflow.

Replaced today. EXTREMELY easy and simply located under the dash /
glovebox. Working fine part was $ 35
