Oil What kind ..?

Sorry  I wanted to know if i should run syntheic oil like Mobil-1 or some
other kind of oil. I got the motar with like 20k on it , and i might have
put 2k on it .. If i change oil to Mobil-1 "could" i gain ne h/p ...?

Nothing wrong with mobil-1 if thats your preference. the idea of
inreased performance is boggus. All oils have the same purpose, to
lubricate and cool friction points. the benefits of synthetics is they
generaly will resist chemical breakdown under high temps in comparison
to conventional oils. there are other benifits as well but so vast it
would take an entire book to explain. you can do the research yourself
if you realy wnt to understand them. the important thing with oil is
to stick with one, dont switch around. Each time you change your oil a
small amount remains in the engine. the additives from one oil may
have a reaction with onother oil and develope sludge, lumps, scale, or
corrosive chemicals. whatever oil you choose stick with it and change
it regularly thats all you realy need to do.
