Kingcab 4x4 PU: what's last yr of RR only ABS (or none) as option?

Frontier 4x4 ABS only was available as standard equipement from 1991 to 1997
and on all four wheels from 1998 up.

You  mean rear ABS only right?
Was there ever an option to NOT have it on the front, even though it was
standard (98 and after)?
It's actually worse offroad.  You'd think it'd be the opposite, but I read
tests way back.
If I could get none I'd take it, but on the other hand an empty bed does
make the rr skaty, so I can see the logic for that.

Anybody know if you can turn ABS off?  Can you just clip a wire if you
REALLY want it off?
I wish anything 4x4 had to have an on off switch, like with the psgr.
