Do sentras have remote capability? I didn't think so.
I think the issue may be that your power door lock circuitry got wet.
Was the drivers windows left open on a rainy night or some other similar
event.
This happened on my maxima. After some time the problem just went away.

I know the Sentra's brother B13 (200SX) has remote (my '95 does). Last time
I saw something like this, the remote had been dropped in water and was
intermittently sending codes. The quick way to verify is pull the batteries
from your remotes and see if it stops.

is there a way to disable the power locks and end this problem without
great expense? is there a separate fuse for the locks?

I suggest taking out the power window/door lock control unit from the
driver's door, take a blow dryer to it to blow away any possible
moisture within, then put it back and see how it goes.
Do this over night
