93 altima - instrument panel not lighting...

no blown fuses... but instrument cluster backlight, gear indicator
light and cigarette adapter ring are not lighting up.

interior lamp (overhead) and ac buttons all light up

please advise if able.

Possibilities:

- Dimmer control has crapped out
- Somebody turned the dimmer control all the way down.
- Blown fuse.  On some of the Nissans of that vintage, the instrument panel
dimmer is on the same fuse that powers the taillights.  Are they working?
