hi

notice today , that at stop/redlight  my max would idel little rough  @
600rpm ie shaking on steering and seats. when at Drive Position
although not too bad

idles fine on Nuetral and Park around 700-800 rpm..

anything that i miss?

new sparkplugs NGK, wires, Fuel filter, Air filter, PCV valave, rotor
igniton

could it be the Motor  Mounts?
something else?

any inputs

thanks

Your idle in drive should be around 700-750.  Motor mounts won't cause a
rough idle, but they will cause vibration. How many miles do you have on it?

133k

how do i increase the IDLE speed ?
Jason - 03 Dec 2005 01:29 GMT
It's probably not your idle speed adjustment screw being misadjusted, but
more likely it is your throttle body is starting to get deposits on it,
probably near a vacuum line.  Easiest way to check is to disconnect your air
intake next to the intake manifold and check inside with a flashlight for a
black or greyish powder deposits.

btw , i wouldnt  say its rough idle  more like vibrating when on
Drive... and on stop  ,  when car is on motion/ Moving -its
smooth...Park or Neutral is totaly fine.idle stays @ 7-800 rpm

since im Idling at 600 rpm , u said it should be higher?   how  to
adjust it? to make it @ 700rpm  when im on stop light.
