I am trying to read the engine error light codes via the dash board, but
can't seem to find the screw to turn clockwise, counter clockwise to start
the code reading.

Anyone know how to find it on a 96 pathfinder?

Did you look in the RH kick panel?

Actually, I remember now. it's behind the console. If you put your head
where your right knee would be when driving and look up you should see
it. Silver box with one big connector coming out of it. The bad news is
you have to take it out to see the switch and in order to take it out
you have to disconnect it as I recall (thereby clearing the codes). It
would be MUCH easier to read it with an OBDII scanner.

Yea I saw that and thought it might be it, but why even put a manual read
switch if you can't use it... gezz? Ok thanks!
