OK, I went to www.chipkeys.com and purchased a factory fob for 34.99 and
shipping. For a hair under $40.00 I got it in two days and using their
programming instructions, programmed it in under 5 minutes. Damn....it
works!!! The factory guys wanted almost $200. with programming to do the
same thing. What a deal! Thanks to the guy who put me on to these folks.

I didn't see a key listed for the Murano on that site. Did you call
them for it?

No key. So far, that's a factory only deal due to proprietary programming
equipment. So, I'm using the valet key while my wife uses the main key.

Ah...that's what I thought. I was thinking, "$40 for a replacement
SmartKey? I don't need one now, but for that price I'd buy one and
store it." <g>
