Where is the DRL module for 1994 Nissan Axxess?

I have  a 1994 Nissan Axxess  2WD  and one of  the daytime running
lights doesn't work.   The only manual I have access to  is for a 1992
and it shows the module  located in the  engine compartment by the left
headlamp in Canadian models.  However,  in my 1994 it is not there and I
have not been able to locate  it anywhere.  Does  anyone have  any idea
where they might have put  it?  I am  thinking that  my car might be  a
US model that was retrofitted with DRL's  for the Canadian market.
Much appreciated.

In my 1994 Altima, it was behind the kick panel on the right hand side of
the passenger's footwell.. just ahead of the passenger's door.  I had to pop
the plastic piece out, and peel back some foam to find it.

You might be able to pinpoint its location if you start the engine, release
the handbrake, and turn your headlights on and off.  You should hear the
relays clicking on and off inside the module, wherever it is :)

Hope that helps!

Your suggestion spurred me to have another  hard look inside the car and
I found  it way up behind the fuse pannel on the drivers side firewall.
I wasn't sure that is what it was but  I gave it a tap with a screw
driver handle to release any sticking relay and that did the trick.
Thank God, because it would have been a bugger to get out.  If anyone
else has the same problem-  it is  black and looks exactly like the
front  wiper module, which is on the firewall in the engine compartment.

Thanks for  the  help,
Dan
