87 PULSAR SHORT CIRCUIT KILLS COMPUTER

Shop wants $85/hour to track down the short that killed the computer.
My guess is that the short that blew out the MAIN DIODE is common. I
got the computer repaired. It came back with note DO NOT INSTALL until
you find the short that destroyed the main diode. Good car, low miles

Well it is a good idea to not use the new computer as a fuse..
