Primera Camino?
Never heard of that model. Is that a UK car? If so, you can change the
language by inserting the set-up cd-rom into the dvd slot of the sat-nav
and following the instructions on screen.

No .......imported to NZ from Japan and had had GPS module removed by
previous owner. the LCD display is also used for CD player, a/c and
some that appear to be engine management/computer functions.

Hmmmm
It sounds like it is similar to a UK Primera. With the DVD/SatNav module
removed, you won't be able to change the language in the way I
suggested. I'd take it to a Nissan dealer.
