Nissan 2001 pthfndr - stereo reads error message, isnt there a reset type
button and can I get my CD's out? its the Bose factory installed stereo,
dealership wants to charg 300 plus, to repair and remove CD's. shouldn't I be
able to do this myself???

Sometimes unplugging and reconnecting your battery will reset the HU
and the CD will be ejected.  If that doesn't work, it's time for a
new/replacement headunit. Your cheapest option is to pick up a working
unit off Ebay for 100 bucks or so and just swap it out.
