I need to change the clutch in my 99 Frontier.
Someone said I have to drop the lower torsion arm.
Can anyone fill me in on steps or give advice.
Dose Nisson or anyone else make a manual that would help on this job.

I know may change the tortion tubes and arms as part of lift kits so this is
often done.

IF you think the transfercase and tranny can be removed without dropping the
arms please let me know.  I would obviously like to avoid this.

It's not the arms but the torsion rods themselves that must be removed.
After you take the tension out of them with the adjuster, they slide out of
the control arms as this is a splined interface. Then you just have to put
them back in the right spline so you can readjust the ride hight after you
are done.
