I'm curious if people like the trend to  short-bed p/ups (?).

I think the short beds are too short, though am confused:

Are some/most of the Nissan short beds instantly expandable/extendable
to long-beds?

I don't like the hermaphrodite PUs. I have the 97 PU with the king cab.
I picked the king cab so I could carry stuff behind the seat. No one has
ever sat back there, and I am usually alone in the truck  IMHO, the 97
was the last best looking Nissan truck.

Amen!  I also have a 97 King Cab.  When I went shopping for a used Nissan
truck in the summer of 2000, I would not even look at anything 98 or later.
IMHO the '05 and '06 look OK, but '98 to '04 are just a little too
effeminate-looking for a truck.
