Hi all,  I think my truck wants to retire. 126K miles.  Just replaced
Starter, water pump a few weeks ago. Tonight the fuel line.  Started
up after fuel line and ran fine around the block, started to run rough
and I noticed fuel running down the front of carb. After a quick look
I noticed that fuel was coming out the accelerator pump housing.  My
question is...Is that what will happen if the pump diaphram is bad? At
idle, will fuel run out that part?  Thanks,  Jerry

NO, when you repaired your fuel line you dislodged a piece of dirt that
is now blocking the needle and seat.It needs to be cleaned. The
accelerator pump is always submerged and is not a diaphragm type.
