My 2004 V6 XE Frontier came equiped with B F Goodrich Radial Long Trail
T/A tires: 265/R15 110S. I called my dealer and complained that the
tread was worn at the edge despite my tire rotations at the proper
intervals. He said most of the tires get roughly 25,000 miles! I'm in
Florida, and the hotter pavement does make a difference.
My problem. 15 inch tires aren't common and all the tire shops AND the
Nissan dealer I bought the truck from, has a difficult time getting
these tires! Plus, they are $135 a tire with a $90 work charge at the
Nissan dealer. One B F Goodrich store quoted me $675 to replace them --
a month from now!
Should I go with a 16 tire and get new wheels? Or stick with 15 wheels
and have to go through this again in 2.5 years or less. And will my
tire warranty pay for this?

go online to sam's club and order michelin's, pay for order w/credit card, they call
