so i am getting way too much oil in my pcv system,  pulled the valve cover
and checked the baffle, seems intact but since it is just screen, it is
allowing too much oil to come out. looking for ideas on stopping this
problem, i've got a puddle of oil in front of the air intake as well as in
my pcv lines. when i clean out system car runs fine, otherwise it runs very
bad

Last time I saw this it was because the car had way too much oil,
period. The car took 4 quarts of oil but somehow had been filled with 7.
If that's the case with you, change your oil, make sure not to overfill,
and replace your PCV.

Get a new PCV valve and make sure the vac passage in the intake manifold is
clear.

i have the right amount of oil and have already replaced the valve. how do i
clean out the vac passage? it would make sense that it is plugged with oil
