i just bought a used 1994 altima. It is a  nice car for my son. I can't
find anywhere if the timing belt in this model is of type that is
"interference" type or not. I would like to know so that I would know
what to expect in case timing belt ever goes. I can't find this
information anywhere on the Internet.

Thanks in advance for any information.

George

Altimas don't have timing belts.  They all use a timing chain.  As long as
the oil is changed regularly, it should last the life of the car.
