Hi,

I have a 1998 Nissan Primera. My husband and I each have a remote for
locking and unlocking the car as well as starting it without the key.
Recently I noticed that niether one of the remotes have been able to
lock or unlock however it still starts the car with no problem. So I
figured that the problem may not be with the remote but with car's
central locking system. Can any one please help?

Thanks,
Anna.

Its the same as the Renault's with the keycards when my megane wouldn't
unlock or lock with the card i had to use the emergency key but it does
still start the car ,when i put the card in the reader it told me to change
the card battery thats how i know about this , if you change the battery in
the remote it should unlock and lock the vehicle again
