Google "nissan stability program" got this as first hit. http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/testing/ncap/pages/ESC-EquippedVehicles-2006.html It won't actually save your a.s if you think it's going to let you exceed the laws of physics and pull more G in slalom or avoid ELK!! without rolling over. If I'm not mistaking, this will be required on all 4WD vehicles in the next couple of years. Those that have a head start are promoting (and charging extra)... least that's my understanding. They should have a vehicle user chip card. Start with 50 points. Every time the numpty triggers the antilock braking system 1 point off, traction control 3 points off and ESP/DSP whatever 10 points off.
