Hi,
I have a 2001 Pathfinder which has about 65000 miles on it. Now, all of
a sudden, my interior lights died as well the lights on the dials and
dash indicator (where it shows the temp and heat and aircondition fan
info in the LED ). I am wondering is this is simple fuse issue/ circuit
breaker or is it like a major issue that I need to go to dealer. Can
someone suggest how I can diagnose this, if it is a fuse or circuit
breaker related issue. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

definitely sounds like a fuse.  Did you recently add anything to your
Pathfinder (like a stereo or other accessory)?

It's possible you have a short and it blew the main dash light fuse.

Check our owners manual for the location of the fuse box (if you don't
know where it is already), and look for a fuse that controls the dash
lights.  It's highly probable that the fuse controls some other
function besides the dash lights so it's a good idea to find the fuse
and check it.

Also, if you find and replace the fuse and the lights blow again,
check for pinches wires.

This is usually the same circuit as your taillights. Do you have a
trailer hookup?
