I've got a 1994 Pathfinder and would like to check the transmission
fluid. Any tips you can provide on the proper way to do so would
be appreciated. Should this be done with the motor running and
the car set in Neutral instead of Park?

I believe all automatic transmission oil levels need to be need to be
checked with the engine running, shifter in Park, and Parking Brake applied
(recommended for safety).
