2001 Sentra GXE Front Defrost Blower Fan

Today I found that the controls for this would only work on 4.. 1, 2, 3 and
do not operate.

Has anyone had this type of thing happen before? I'm getting it looked at
on Monday but I'm trying to understand why top speed works while the other 3
do not.

Any and all ideas appreciated.

Search for "blower resistor".

Me again.. thanks very much.. found the information and it sounds exactly
like the problem I am having.. I just wasn't searching for the right term.

Thanks very much.. that's explains why it at least keeps going. I got it
repaired and the part was $35 Canadian.. Just in case anyone else finds
themselves in the same boat.
