Parking brake lights on my Nissan quest 2001 are often on while
driving. What can be a reason for that?

Low on brake fluid.

Under the dash, behind the brake pedal leg, is a sensor with a push button
on it. If this button doesn't completely disengage from the pedal arm it
will cause the lights to stay on. Either the return spring isn't pulling the
pedal back completely or the sensor needs adjusting. Try this, it might be
the problem.
