keyless entry remote doesn't make a sound

Hello all, I've bought a 2006 nissan pathfinder this past december. I
'm having a problem with the remote. When ever i press the lock button
on the remote, the car doesn't make a sound telling you that it's
locked. I didn't have the problem before but now the car does make a
sound for locking and unlocking. The remote in itself is working
because it locks all doors and opens all doors but now it just doesn't
make that horn sound. Any one know what could be the problem?

in some nissans, if you press the lock and unlock buttons at the same time
near the car for 2 seconds, it'll turn the beep on and off.

You've just got the sound turned off. I keep mine off as I live in a very
quiet secluded neighborhood and a honking horn alerts the neighbors as well.

If yours is like mine, just hold both the lock and unlocks at the same time
for 2 seconds or longer and it will turn it back on. If that fails, consult
your owners manual.
