As far as I can tell, the last Nissan trucks sold in the US that used
a timing belt were the 2004 Frontier and Xterra with the 3.3L SOHC
V-6. The last US spec car to use a timing belt was the 1996 300ZX with
the 3.0L DOHC V-6. The last Nissan mini van to use a timing belt was
the 2002 Quest with the 3.3L SOHC V-6. I am basing this on the Gates

In other words, they all had variants of Nissan's venerable VG30 motor,
VG30E, VG33E, VG30DET, etc. My friend has it in his 92 Maxima.
