I've come to the conclussion that my starter has gone bad, mostly because
I've already had my battery checked, I checked my altinater and it was good.
The car wasn't even turning over. Anyways I believe I need a new starter and
I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate on how much it would cost.

Thanks.

Ben

you can tap on your starter with a hammer to see if it is the starter
going bad. Price on a rebuilt one varies, but I would recommend on a
Nissan genuine rebuilt. It could set you back around $200. My starter
went out at about 166,000 miles on my '92 SE-R and it cost me around
$250 for a Nissan starter. Heck, it lasted 14 years, and was the first
item that had to be replaced on the car (less brake pads and tires)

Alternately, your car is a 1994, and on eBay you can get one for around
$100 new. I did just that for my kid's Sentra distributor (new), at about
1/3rd the price of a dealer's unit, and no core charges.
