1997 Pathfinder fuel filter

I think I may have put my fuel filter in backwards.  When looking from
the rear, the flow should be left to right, or right to left?

Visually follow the fuel line going through it.  The flow arrow should point
to the line going to the engine and away from the one coming from the gas
tank.

when laying or standing under the vehicle the slightly domed portion in the
filter should point  to the drivers side of the truck when viewed from
behind the rear axle facing the front of the vehicle
