had a no voltage situation , replaced alternator with a new quality
one, still no juice, all cables are in good order, engine grounding
strap is fine, fuses and relays check, z24 motor, one clue no voltage
light in cab and yes the bulb is good any clues....

Is there a fusible link in the line? If the battery, alternator and
cables are OK that fusible link is about all that's left. Good luck.

The alternator needs 12v from the battery for it to start working, so I
would check that it gets there (with the engine not running). As others
have said, a fusible link could be the cause.
