Can anybody help me??  I have a 93 nissan pick-up and the timing belt
went bad on it, I have installed a new one and the manual I have
showed timing marks on the oil pump housing which I can’t seem to
locate?  I went by the lines on the belt and it is not running on all
6 cylinders.  I pulled the air plenum off and held my hand over the
holes while cranking and #5 and 6 are sucking and then blowing back
up,  is it possible I might be off 1 tooth on the crank timing gear??

Thanks

WAG - I'm not familiar with that particular motor: Did your last belt
break? As I recall, Nissan V6's of that era bend things when the belt
snaps. Sounds like you might have bent valve shafts and some valves
stuck open.

It's also possible that you have the timing _way_ off.

If only two cylinders are defective, chances are that the valves got
bent when the belt broke.
