The stop light mounted at the rear of the cab in my '95 Nissan pickup burned
out, probably years ago. When I took it apart I found that it consists of
about six miniature lamps embedded in epoxy. I checked with the dealer about
a replacement, and they said that it would cost me $110, not cheap at all!

Does anyone know of an aftermarket stop light that would work?

They are LED bulbs. It's very rare that they all will burn out at one
time. I would suspect a wiring problem affecting all 6.
My Nissan PU is a 97 and all 6 LEDs are still working.
