headlight repair

Hello all,
I have a 99 maxima with about 96K.  Recently my drivers side
headlight stopped working so I took it to the dealer for service.
They installed a new wiring harness for the headlight and replaced the
bulb.  Now the headlight is significantly dimmer than the other side
and the bright light indicator is always dimly lit in the dash even
when the brights are not on (when the brights are on the indicator is
normal).   The dealer sees nothing wrong as the indicator is only
visible when it is dark out and claims the headlights are the same.
Any suggestions??

Thank you in advance,
N.L.

There's a problem with either the wiring of the connector or the
connection from the connector to the bulb. In the Max that causes the
high beam indicator to glow. They messed up the job.
