86 300zx nonturbo a/t w/202K miles on it stalls when warmed up.
Driveability is jerky at best. Replaced cap and rotor w/Nissan one, tried
gumout intank, disconnected fuel temp sensor w/no change, changed 02
sensor,spark plugs(oem)chaged 20K ago, plug wires 30K old,tried different
octane. Funny thing though I can drive 50 miles on the highway at highway
speed with no problem but once I get to the off ramp at a stop light the
problem comes. ECU codes are 12-(low out volt when eng is low),21-(ign sig
not entered in 10 times),31-(on/off sig not entered when ign sw not turned
on),41-(fuel temp sensor opened or shorted). Funny thing though I had these
same codes back in 2001 when I ran an ECU test for another problem so I do
not have much faith in those. All help appreciated.

Ignore the ecu codes on that car, they are worthless information. At that
point they didn't have the fault checked together at all.
First thing I'd look at is the AIV valve and make sure it isn't dumping
exhaust gas through the MAS/AF meter whatever you want to call it. Sounds
like this may have happened and ruined the MAS.
Another thing I've seen on high milage cars is the engine is using some oil
and giving a bad signal to the O2 sensor. It see's the oil as fuel and
leans out the engine. Try running it with the O2 sensor unplugged and see
how it reacts.
Same with the coolant temp sensor, there is a subharness connector on the
pass side of the plenum and the computer does into a default countdown
timer setting for the temp when it's unplugged and run. if that helps
replace the sensor AND the subharness. It's a mother to get to and requires
a funky special tool to remove without taking the front of the engine
apart.
Hope this helps you get in the right direction.

***Tried this and it was the same. I burn about 1 qt 10w-30w Mobil1 every
1500 miles.
Thanks for the other great info!

Yea that's not "using oil" in my book. Good luck and let us know what you
find.
