I'm a bit of a novice, but want to save some money, and need some
advice. I've got a 2002 Nissan Altima and the driver's side window is
not working. I can operate all other windows from the driver side,
just not the driver's window. It won't go up or down. If I can
operate the other windows but not mine on the same panel, then it's
not the switch itself right? In that case is it only the motor that
could be messed up? Where do I get these & how much do they run. My
initial searches yielded nothing on a 2002 Altima.

Not necessarily. Each switch is a separate entity that can break all
by itself. You also have the one touch down module that can go bad.
You would need to get a volt meter and pull the door panel to diagnose
the problem.
A quick search shows me that the motor is still dealer only but that
information may no longer be correct.

take your door panel off
disconnect the harness that attaches to the motor
put a test light or volt meter on the contacts
turn on the window switch.
if you have light, then motor is bad.
if you don't have light, then test at the switch harness...
if you are a fat dude, i wouldn't recommend replacing the window motor.
skinny dudes have an easier access to the mounting bolts.
