check the fuses and replace any that are blown(with the same amp.
fuse). if that doesn’t work turn the key listen for the fuel pump to
come on(find the fuel tank and have someone sit close to hear the
pump) it will be a humming sound, if you dont hear it it might be bad,
or you relay may be bad(its on the passenger side of the fire wall in
a black box, maybe. thats how my achieva is) if u replace the relay
you will have to take the relays off one at a time and check the pins
from the new one and the one thats off to find the fuel pump relay,
unless you can find a diagram that says what order they are in. if
that doesnt fix your problem you may have to drop the tank and replace
the pump, and screens,(if you do you should also replace the filter,
try that first if you hear the pump turn on) that will be about $130,
if none of that works it might be your ignition module, my car did the
same thing in Jan. that is what we tried and it still didnt start, but
it would crank till’ the battery died. after that we couldn’t figure
out what was wrong with it, so i checked all the fuses again and jumed
a wire from the GAUGES fuse to the INST LPS fuse and i could start my
car if i had my lights on. after i figured that out we tried driving
it to the shop, got 3 blocks from my house and it died. it was the
ignition module.
