Hello,
I took My 94 Cutlass Supreme S  to the brake shop and found out I
don't need brake pads but they think the Anti lock brake system???
connected to the master cyl. has bad valves???. They say the dealership
gets about a $100 to check it out. All My dash brake lights are on all the
time while running.

Does anyone know the:

1) Name of this part
2) How much it cost
3) Where I can find one
4) And how hard it is to install.

Any info will help.
Thanks John M.

The abs system has to be scanned for codes first, then you can tell from
there what repairs are necessary, no other way.

a new Master Cylinder at Checker, Schucks, Kragen(all the same comany
just different names for different parts of the country) will cost
about $155, it might be easier for you to take your car to the shop
and have them do it, because you have to bleed the Master Cylinder and
the rest of the system, and if you dont have the tools for that, it
might be cheaper to take it to the shop.
