hi all, i purchased a 1985 delta 88 with 68k miles on it a few months back.
right after i got it i did a tune up on it with the help of my uncle. well,
a few weeks back i was driving and the oil/choke light came on so i checked
the dip stick and it was dry. i took it home and it took 2.5 quarts of oil.
i took it to my uncle and we got it onto the lift at his place and he said
the underside was really dry for that engine. well, the other day the light
came on again and i was down about 3 quarts. the oil has to be going
somewhere. my uncle has an old ford hotrod ripped apart at his place so
he's busy, any ideas on what to look for/check out/replace? thanks.

Pull the valve covers make sure the drain back areas in the heads are not
blocked and the oil is trapped up top.
