When I try to shut off my car the key will go from e to f and sticks on c.
I am unable to shut off my car or remove the key from the ignition. Have
any of you folks experienced this? Car is 95 Olds Achiever.

The Mrs. was having trouble getting her key in or back out.....after liberal
doses of graphite and oil all largely to no avail.....straitening the "bent"
key did wonders....might be worth checking...... Rod

happend to my old cutlass surpeme, the key would not even turn off. we spent
like 2 hours trying to shut it off with no luck.
in the end we drove it to the mechanic and had the whole thing replaced.

happened to me on my 97. achevia.
Under the steering collum there is a small ( about an inchto 1 1/2 " snap on
cover. Remove it with screwdriver ( just snaps off) there is an ignition
switch release. it took me a min. to find but it is there. push it in at the
same time turning the key back to the off position.
Hope that works for you.

I had this problem with a 98 Town & Country van where the key would not
turn to get the engine to start. Hit the end of the key with a pair of
pliers a few times. This may break the worn tumblers loose to allow the
key to come out. If this works you can get by this way for a while, but
you need to replace the ignition key cylinder. Mine cost about $100.
