I have a 1995 Olds Cutlass Supreme SL. The A/C was working great until one
day it no longer got cold. It seems that the compressor will no longer turn
on when engaging the A/C switch. It is the original A/C system with the old
style freon. It still blows but just doesn't get cold. Any ideas what
would cause this to suddenly stop working when it worked great the day
before? Thank you.
1.) Check and see if the clutch portion of the compressor still turns by
hand. (with the motor shut off)
2.) Check the AC compressor fuse or relay
3.) Turn on the defrost and see if the AC clutch turns on (with the engine
running)
4.) or try this

It is the switch that turns the compressor on and off located on the
compressor itself.
Just my $.02
