Have you got the instructions for a 2 door? I just encountered the same
problem with my passenger side window on my 2000 Alero coupe.

The same instructions work for your coupe.  Only the rear door method is
different.

Thanks so much Silver!  It's a 4 door.  Is the procedure you gave for a 4
door?  Also, is it a must to have the special tools.  I don't want to ruin
it and will get them if need be.  Thanks again

The procedure should work for you.  The "special tool" is no big deal.  You
can get one cheap at Advance or Auto Zone.  It will look something like a
putty knife with a V-notch cut out of the blade which has its edges rounded
off.

I was looking for a post for door panel removal, I just blew out the drivers
side speaker on my 2 door 1999 Alero.
