I just bought a 1992 Olds Silhouette, when it is cold it will start great
but after you drive it awhile and shut it off and try to restart it it
WON'T START. We have changed the coil's and the plate underneath them but
still it is doing the same. We talked to a mechanic and he said something
about an auto shut off. We can't find an auto shut off. CAN ANY ONE TELL
ME WHERE IT SHOULD BE LOCATED!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to check for fuel pressure, spark, scan it to see if there is a
cranking rpm, or get it to someone who knows what they are doing.

Possibly a bad gas cap.  The vent it not working causing a vacuum in the
tank.  If you let the van sit for a while does it start right back up, hot
or cold??
