shift hard from park to reverse  pressing brake it still shift hard

Allen,

 By "shift hard" I'm assuming you mean rough or harsh engagement of
reverse when shifting from Park. If that is the case, check and make
sure engine idle speed is normal. Next, check the adjustment of the
transaxle throttle cable at the throttle body (this is CRITICAL - get
a service manual and do this right. If it is not done right, you can
ruin a transaxle in short order). Also check the hose from the
transaxle vacuum modulator to the steel pipe that connects to the
throttle body.

If all the above is OK, then we're looking at an internal problem
(and there are a bunch of different things that can cause harsh
engagement, some cheap and some not cheap at all). But start with
these checks and see what results.
