Hi,

I am not sure if this will work for your car, but it has for both of
mine. One is older then your car, one is newer, both Oldsmobiles. The
fuel filter is located inside the fuel line leading  to the carb. You
have to remove the fuel line from the carb to get to the filter and it
is right inside the tube. Little tiny thing. Replace the filter, then
place the tube back to the carb.

Like I said, not sure this will work with your car, but it has on both
of my Olds.

Yellow,
         I have a 91 olds 98 elite. with the 3800 v6, i believe. The
fuel filter on my car is located near the frame (facing the inside),
just behind the motor. I think it might even be where the frame starts
bending upwards towards the front of the car. I seen it when it was on
the rack at the garage. I was having 3 new mounts installed.
hope this helps. good luck!
